About J-B Weld
J-B Weld has been the world's strongest bond since 1969 — built for the people who'd rather fix it, rebuild it, or make it better than give up on it.

How it all began
A mom-and-pop operation
Sam Bonham needed a way to fix cracked engine blocks without a torch. Working with a Texas A&M chemist he formulated a two-part epoxy, mixed the first batch in his garage and named it J-B Weld.
He and Mary sold it out of the trunk of their car to auto-parts jobbers across east Texas. Word spread because the product worked — permanently.
More than fifty years later, the company Sam and Mary started is headquartered near Atlanta and sold at over 90,000 retail locations in more than 40 countries.
