Brush resin onto the prepared area, lay the mat in, then saturate it with more resin, adding layers as the repair needs.

Mixed resin gives you 8 to 12 minutes of working time at 75F and cures in about 2 hours at 75F. Do not apply it below 45F; the optimal range is 64 to 75F. Curing takes longer as the temperature drops, so in cold conditions plan on waiting longer before sanding rather than adding extra hardener.
